So far….

For my future, being a good leader is very important to me, which is why I always take the opportunity to be the leader. So far ive learned a lot concerning leadership in this project. Assertiveness for example is not the most important thing, it’s more important to exploit the teammates abilities and allow them to work in those sections, because when someone enjoys doing something, they will do a much better job than if they do not enjoy it. Of course it remains difficult because there’s always going to be work that we don’t want to do, but just because we don’t want to do it, doesn’t mean it doesn’t have to be done.

I’ve also learned so much about online communities, even websites such as Facebook that I thought I knew everything about. This project and the presentations of my peers have thought me so much more about how social media can be used as well as other types of online areas. It’s a weird statement but I guess what I’m trying to say is that I’m comfortable enough to go out of my comfort zone concerning online communities which for me is kind of a breakthrough because once I’m comfortable with something in the area of technology, and I use it a lot, It’s extremely rare for me to explore other options.

Please excuse for the extremely late post, It’s been a busy week J
