It depends on if I am the leader or not, if I am only a team worker, I don’t think I have a choice but if I am the team leader, I would prefer work as a online community.
The reason is quite simple - we had learned the skills, we have been trained for this for weeks, we learned everything about online communities, the group size, the group types, how to work effectively, etc. Furthermore we actually participated on this every class, we solved a lot of problems like what software is best for video and what is the best for typing and sharing.
First thing first, I want all group members in my team has their won skills, in an other word, they are professional in some way, and they will take the matching roles. For example, I want the technology steward really good at every useful software and willing to help others to learn it.
Once everybody has their won role and work to do, we will work as a smaller group of two, this is my favorite way, and it proved to be the best way in our team working. Since we had experience of “unhappy” team working, I think I am also ready for this kind of challenge, although I would like to avoid it.
